“Lamb” for dinner and “Chuck”les for dessert

Don’t worry about us here at WJMC. Although the food is not enough to sustain our jam packed days, we somehow survive off the comical panelists and their ways of beating around the bush. Monday’s night panelists and Steve Klein seemed to “eat up” C-Span CEO, Mr. Lamb and NBC Chief White House Correspondent,  Chuck Todd. First of all, Mr. Lamb did not describe his trials and tribulations of his struggle to the top. Instead, he asked all of us what we think journalism is. Isn’t he the expert? Isn’t he the CEO of C-Span? Then why doesn’t he share his EXPERTise? He IS the EXPERT and should therefore tell US what journalism is today and how to keep it alive. As for Chuck Todd, he really avoided questions all together. His intentions to be unbiased led him to two answers for every question. He would cover his butt for both the left and right side, never really sharing his own opinion or the “do’s” and “don’ts” to journalism. As for the “chuck”les mentioned in the titled, don’t worry, those definitely did not come from Mr. Chuck Todd himself. Actually, his monotone voice and dull persona led to severe whiplash on my neck and chair indents on my medulla oblongata. Every time I went to blink, my eyes would stick together, and I would catch my head falling backwards, mouth wide open. Although that could be due to the lack of sleep, the unexciting lecture did not help the situation whatsoever. Thanks Dean Andrew Flagel for providing us with true laughs. As for tomorrow, let’s see if Mr. Josh Earnest is capable of keeping me awake. And out of trouble.
